The world famous 7 Sisters; the easier way: Eastbourne circular via Birling Gap

The Seven Sisters cliffs between Seaford and Eastbourne are one the most popular hikes in the UK and rightly so.

The white cliffs have amazing views from the top or the bottom and will amaze you, it really is a paradise on Earth and many know how difficult it can be so for this time, we will do an easier and a shorter version of the traditional trip and will start and finish our hike at Eastbourne.

We will walk to Birling Gap where you will have some magnificent sights of the Seven Sisters but we will not climb the actual Sisters. There will still be hills and cliffs to climb though but they will be reduced by half.

Still, we will walk pass the two lighthouses, some pony and will walk on the beach where you might be able to find a fossil if you look for it.

Those gorgeous hills will make you sweat and you will deserve to be a witness of these landscapes that have been forged by the sea and are in constant movement.

We will begin and end our hike in the beautiful town of Eastbourne where we might grab some greasy food to eat on the beach with these gorgeous people who have allowed us to live a wonderful day out filled with laughter and sweat. And of course, like most of my hikes, you will be able to have a swim afterward at Eastbourne beach

This is one of the most fantastic coastal trips in the country and can be quite demanding so let's do a shorter version of it.

DISTANCE: 12 miles/18km

TIME: about 5 hours, including break

TRANSPORT:

By train; we will buy an off peak group days return that will allow us to save 35%on the ticket price.

Waterproof shoes for the hike, preferably hiking shoes, otherwise good trainers;
