The magnificence of the Czech Republic Long Weekend

Let's go to what has been considered by so many people and magazines the the most beautiful city in Europe, PRAGUE!

DAY ONE: We will drop our luggages at the hotel and will begin our visit, we will take our time as every single area is worth discovering. In the evening we will have diner with traditional Czech food.

Prague is a political, cultural, and economic center of central Europe complete with a rich history. Founded during the, Prague was the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and the main residence of several Holy Roman emperors.

There so many places to see , you will literally stare at every building and the main attractions include; Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, the Old Town Square with the Prague astronomical clock the Jewish quarter, Petryn hill and many more. Since 1992, the extensive historic center of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites.

DAY TWO:

Visit of KARLOVY VARY. This wonderful town 1h45 minutes from Prague is know for its (VERY VERY VERY FINE) architecture and its thermal spa that attract people from all over the world. Located in the middle of the forest, this town is the one that shocked me the most when I first visited 20 years ago and I child not wait to go back! We will visit every corners and hike the surroundings before diner. We will then hop on the coach back to Prague for our second night and a well deserved rest.

DAY THREE: 2 Options

We will hop on a bus for a two and a half hours journey for a day trip to the famous Český Krumlov, in Bohemia’s deep south, it is one of the most picturesque towns in Europe. It’s a little like Prague in miniature – a Unesco World Heritage Site with a stunning castle above the Vltava River, an old town square, Renaissance and baroque architecture, and hordes of tourists milling through the streets – but all on a smaller scale; you can walk from one side of town to the other in 20 minutes. There are plenty of lively bars and riverside picnic spots, we will hike the surroundings and visit the town before we head back to Prague and our last day in this gorgeous country.

PLEASE IF YOU DO NEED A SCHENGEN VISA, BOOK YOUR SPOT AT THE CZECH EMBASSY ASAP, APPOINTMENTS APPOINTMENTS MUST BE MADE LONG IN ADVANCE AND SHOULD BE AT LEAST 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. I CAN HELP YOU TO FIND OUT THE CORRECT INFORMATION IF NEEDED.

Flight ( please book yourself on the Ryanair flight from Stansted to Prague at 07.55am for the way in, for the way back I am booked on the 12.30 to Gatwick but you may choose to stay longer if you wish.) Food ( Except for the breakfast which is included in the hotel package) Spa and massage at Karlovy Vary if you wish to have one. anything not mentioned above

WHAT TO BRING:

Waterproof shoes for the hike, preferably hiking shoes, otherwise good trainers; Weather appropriate clothes, including waterproofs if there is a chance of rain Water bottle; Cezch currency

WHATSAPP: A WhatsApp group will be created a few days before the trips, noone is forced to join of course, but I will post additional information on it, we usually also exchange photos of the beautiful day.

ATTENTION: Our trips will not be cancelled due to weather conditions so please ensure that you do wear and carry appropriate clothing. 😄
