NEW HIKE& A SWIM on the JURASSIC COAST: Old Harry's rocks,Studland& Corfe Castle

Join me on a new version of my personal favourite part of the Jurassic Coast,its Eastern part. The Jurassic Coast has a lot more to offer than the Durdle Door that we will visit on another trip and the Old Harry's Rocks is probably the best part of it. Between those marvels of nature stands an area of stunning beaches, forests, heathlands and beautiful views of the Isle of Wight, it is so different from the rest of the UK that if they weren't English people around, you would believe that you are abroad in a region of the Mediterranean . The Old Harry's rocks is a well known landscape of the Jurassic Coast. The rock formation that once connected the Isle of Wight to the rest of the mainland via the needles is a wonder and an insta-favourite. After travelling from London via train and a short bus journey, thus cutting the journey time by over an hour, we will begin our trip at one of the most beautiful villages of the South Coast, Corfe Castle. Tadaaaam ! As you can imagine, there is a castle. Although I did not plan to visit it, you can take some time to do so before we begin the hike, if you wish. We will then begin the proper hike while we are surrounded by turquoise waters and sandy beaches, you will not feel like you are in the UK, we will walk the Isle of Purbeck and as we reach the sandy beach at the foot of the Old Harry's you will be able to jump in the water for a splash or simply grab a coffee or ice cream from the cafe. Join us and share some love, laughs and stories to tell your beloved on the Jurassic Coast!

As my usual hikers know (they are also called Jonions😁) We will probably end up at a nice eatery for a well deserved meal and/or a drink for the drinkers. There is a fabulous pub overlooking the Bay of Purbeck that I do recommend before we take a bus journey to Bournemouth and head back to good old London, our mind full of dreamy souvenirs. INFORMATION:

Distance:12 miles/18km Difficulty:medium, a couple of hills

TRAVEL: Via train from Waterloo Station meet by the Pret a Manger

HIKERS: As per preference, I only take between 10 and 15 people on my further away trips, for this trip I will allow 15 as it is a really popular one but please book early as I would not like to disappoint.

COST: Travelling to the Jurassic coast is costly so I have reduced my fee but it will cost us more than our regular trips closer to London. £70 via Paypal, you can also send it directly to my bank account if you do not have PayPal, if this is the case, pm me.

WHAT TO BRING:

Comfortable shoes for the hike, preferably hiking shoes but trainers will be fine too. Weather appropriate clothes, including waterproofs if there is a chance of rain Your swim gear if you would like to swim Water Packed lunch and snacks.

WHATSAPP:

A WhatsApp group will be created a few days before the trips, noone is forced to join of course, but I will post additional information on it, we usually also exchange photos.

ATTENTION:

Our trips will not be cancelled due to weather conditions so please ensure that you do wear and carry appropriate clothing. 😄

2: Our trips are only refundable up to 30 days before departure, if you wish to cancel after that, you will be offered a transfer to another trip for the same price or you may resell your slot to somebody else.
